Primary Care Services

Primary care is family-focused health care that emphasizes health education and wellness to promote healthy lifestyles and decrease the potential for illness.


The center offers primary care services to people of all ages and is staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners. These services include:

  • Health exams for people of all ages
  • HIV testing
  • Illness care
  • Immunizations
  • Laboratory testing
  • Lead screenings
  • Referrals to community resources and specialty care
  • Schools, sports and camp physicals
  • Support and self-help groups
  • Tuberculosis screening and follow-up

In addition, prenatal clinics are staffed by VNA of Central Jersey nurses and Monmouth Medical Center staff.
