ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP POLICE
 PRESS RELEASE


 The Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests January 1st through January 31st, 2024:
• On January 1st, 2024 a 24-year-old male resident of Perth Amboy, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Spotswood Borough Municipal Court. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer.
• On January 2nd, 2024 a 28-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Lloyd Road. Ptl. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer.
• On January 3rd, 2024 a 49-year-old male resident of Hazlet, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Drive. Ptl. Carmen Catena was the arresting officer.
• On January 9th, 2024 a 47-year-old female resident of Holmdel, NJ was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Dogwood Court. Det. Ronald Osadacz Jr was the arresting officer. 
• On January 11th, 2024 a 40-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats following an incident on County road. Ptl. Robert Galati was the arresting officer.
• On January 13th, 2024 a 40-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with robbery and contempt of court on warrants issued by the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court and United States Marshall’s Service. Ptl. Robert Galati was the arresting officer. 
• On January 13th, 2024 a 41-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on North Concourse. Det. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
• On January 14th, 2024 a 33-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Aberdeen and Woodbridge Township Municipal Courts. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer. 
• On January 15th, 2024 a 32-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Matawan Avenue. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer. 
• On January 17th, 2024 a 32-year-old male resident of Brick, NJ was charged criminal mischief following an incident on Central Avenue. Ptl. Dennis Natale was the arresting officer. 
• On January 17th, 2024 a 43-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. Following an incident on North Concourse. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer. 
• On January 18th, 2024 a 26-year-old male resident of New Brunswick, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Samuel Benson was the arresting officer. 
• On January 20th, 2024 a 38-year-old male resident of Neptune, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Robert Galati was the arresting officer. 
• On January 22nd, 2024 a 44-year-old female resident of South Amboy, NJ was charged with obstruction of justice and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Locust Street. Det. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
• On January 23rd, 2024 a 57-year-old male resident of Neptune City was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Carmen Catena was the arresting officer.
• On January 24th, 2024 a 51-year-old male resident of Keyport, NJ was charged with criminal mischief, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident at ShopRite Food Store. Det. Heather Ford was the arresting officer.
• On January 24th, 2024 a 25-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Spring Lake Municipal Court. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer. 
• On January 25th, 2024 a 44-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.
• On January 26th, 2024 a 23-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Belaire Drive. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
• On January 26th, 2024 a 42-year-old male resident of Union Beach, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 35. Sgt. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
• On January 27th, 2024 a 28-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Samuel Benson was the arresting officer. 
• On January 29th, 2024 a 60-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with harassment following an incident on Lorraine Drive. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer. 
• On January 29th, 2024 a 38-year-old female resident of East Orange, NJ was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of an incompetent person. Ptl. Robert Galati and Det. Ronald Osadacz were the arresting officers.  
It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Officers responded to or initiated 1,296 calls for service between January 1st, and January 31st, 2024, including 49 motor vehicle accidents; 68 alarms (house/fire); 2 assaults; 5 burglary reports; 7 criminal mischief; 4 crisis interventions; 28 disorderly persons; 20 domestic disputes; 11 fire calls, 118 first aid calls; 4 frauds; 17 harassments; 0 M.V thefts; 0 narcotics; 20 thefts; 2 trespassing; 64 suspicious person/vehicle and 29 welfare checks. 
Officers issued 137 summonses and conducted 272 motor vehicle stops.
