ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP POLICE BLOTTER APRIL 2022
The Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests April 1st through April 30th, 2022:
- On April 1st, 2022 a 52-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with obstruction of the administration of law following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptlw Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.
- On April 1st, 2022 a 34-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats following an incident on Van Brackle Road. Ptl. Liam Gallagher was the arresting officer.
- On April 3rd, 2022 a 35-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Athens Way. Ptl. Nicholas Perrone was the arresting officer.
- On April 4th, 2022 a 19-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at the Matawan Regional High School. SRO Jeff Griffith was the arresting officer.
- On April 4th, 2022 a 30-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with providing false reports to law enforcement following an incident on Randall Way. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
- On April 5th, 2022 a 18-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court warrant issued by the Hazlet Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Michael Monteiro was the arresting officer.
- On April 6th, 2022 a 34-year-old male resident of West Orange, NJ was charged with theft following an incident on Church Street. Det. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- On April 7th, 2022 a 64-year-old resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Myrtle Street. Ptl. Jose Veliz was the arresting officer.
- On April 10th, 2022 a 75-yearold male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Lower Main Street. Ptl. Mohamed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.
- On April 10th, 2022 a 68-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Imbrook Lane. Ptl. Evan Guastaferro was the arresting officer.
- On April 12th, 2022 a 52-year-old male resident of Staten Island, NY was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
- On April 12th, 2022 a 46-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with shoplifting following an incident at ShopRite Food Store. Ptl. Evan Tyler was the arresting officer.
- On April 14th, 2022 a 26-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with Endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Maxwell Street. Det. Bruce Monro and the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office were the arresting officers.
- On April 17th, 2022 a 27-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on Netherwood Drive. Ptl. Nicholas DaRocha was the arresting officer.
- On April 18th, 2022 a 46-year-old male Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Barbara Place. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.
- On April 22nd, 2022 a 41-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Mohamed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.
- On April 22nd, 2022 a 27-year-old male resident of Piscataway, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Monroe Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Christopher Vetter was the arresting officer.
- On April 24th, 2022 a 39-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Wall Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Mohamed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.
- On April 24th, 2022 a 60-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following an incident on State Highway 34. Ptlw. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.
- On April 27th, 2022 a 37-year-old male resident of Keansburg, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Red Bank Borough Municipal Court. Ptl. Nicholas Perrone was the arresting officer.
It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Officers responded to or initiated calls for service between April 1st, 2022 and April 30th, 2022, including 30 motor vehicle accidents; 55 alarms (house/fire); 4 assaults; 2 burglary reports; 6 criminal mischief; 4 crisis interventions; 23 disorderly persons; 23 domestic disputes; 14 fire calls, 104 first aid calls; 7 frauds; 16 harassments; 2 M.V thefts; 0 narcotics; 9 thefts; 1 trespassing; 31 suspicious person/vehicle and 18 welfare checks.
Officers issued 263 summonses and conducted 387 motor vehicle stops.
