❄️ Town Hall Closure Notice

Due to the winter storm, Aberdeen Township Town Hall will be closed tomorrow.
Regular hours will resume Tuesday, January 27 at 8:30 AM.

The building will remain open as a warming center and for police-related matters as needed.

Please stay safe, stay warm, and avoid unnecessary travel while Township crews continue working throughout the storm.

❄️ Aberdeen Township Storm Update

Approximately 9 inches of snow has been reported across Aberdeen. Our DPW crews have been out all day and will continue working throughout the storm to keep roads clear and safe.

Residents are asked to stay off the roads unless travel is necessary so plows and emergency vehicles can operate efficiently.

If you’re out shoveling or enjoying the snow, please remember to take breaks and warm up often. Cold temperatures and heavy, wet snow can be dangerous. Pace yourself while shoveling, as snow may be heavier than it looks.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe.

Parking During Snow Removal

To help our Department of Public Works clear streets safely and efficiently, residents are reminded to follow Aberdeen Township’s temporary snow emergency parking rules when snow is covering the roadway.

Parking restrictions are street-side specific and depend on whether it is an odd or even day and which side of the street corresponds with your house number.

Temporary Off-Street Parking for Residents

To assist with snow removal operations, Aberdeen residents only may park vehicles off the street in Township park parking lots and designated municipal lots at their own risk during the storm.

Permitted parking times:

Available locations include:

  • Township park parking lots
